Q. What do I need to bring with me? A. Nothing. Each pod is fully equipped with bed linen, towels, cups, glasses, tea, coffee and milk.

Q. Are there any cooking facilities? A. There is a large communal shed, which has a microwave, a toaster and a hot water boiler. There is also an area outside where you can use a stove or disposable barbecue. The pods themselves are not suitable for cooking in.

Q. What can we buy onsite? A. We will sell disposable BBQ’s and firewood for the fire pit.

Q. What about breakfasts? A. Although the pods are let on a room only basis, it will be possible to order a cooked or continental breakfast if required. Breakfast is available at the price of £5.00 per person per night with a choice of full Scottish, full vegetarian or continental selection. It can either be paid as an optional booking extra or be paid for on arrival. Orders for breakfast must be made the day before to help with preparation and to ensure it is ready for you required time. Alternatively there is also a large selection of cafes, restaurants and pubs selling food at all times of the day, within walking distance.

Q. How far away is the public transport? A. The rail and bus station is 10 minutes walk away whilst the local buses, which run up and down Cairngorm Mountain, are just around the corner.

Q. Can I bring a dog? A. Sorry the pods are not suitable for dogs.

Q. Is it possible to have a pod set up for twin use? A. Yes it is possible, but please be aware that the pods are a compact and intimate space, most suited to couples and single travellers. Due to the wet room arrangement there is very little privacy and for that reason we do not take bookings for twin use online. It may be possible for a parent and child, for example, to share a twin pod but please contact us if you would like to book this as an option. We also do have two rooms within the onsite B&B that are suitable for twin use and, if available, they will appear within the booking options.

Q. We are travelling with elderly relatives. Would it be possible to book a room in the B&B as well as a pod? A. Of course. Not all people will appreciate the “pod” concept so we have the traditional B&B rooms bookable on the same booking page.

Q. I have an unusual request. What do I do? A. Please phone us or email us and we will do all that we can to help

Q. How compact is the living space? A. The pods feel quite roomy due to the high ceilings. However the bed is a standard double with no room for feet to hang over the edge. It uses the full space of the pod width. The wet room is also quite a compact space not unlike that which you would find in a touring caravan. For those reasons the pods may not be suitable for larger or taller people so please bear that in mind when booking the pods.
